About this center
- The Melody Garden is a small-group, home-based dayhome located in West Springs, Calgary, approximately a two-minute walk from Calgary French & International School (CFIS).
- Led by an experienced Alberta ECE Level 3 educator with a background in early childhood education, music teaching, and children’s vocal coaching, the program combines nurturing childcare with play-based learning and daily musical experiences.
- Children enjoy music and movement, early literacy, STEM exploration, open-ended art, sensory and dramatic play, kids yoga, and regular outdoor activities. A hot, healthy lunch and nutritious snacks are provided, with dietary, cultural, and allergy needs discussed individually with families.
- The small-group environment allows for attentive relationships, individualized activities, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere where children can build confidence, curiosity, creativity, and independence. Optional Mandarin enrichment is also incorporated through songs, stories, movement, and everyday conversation.
